Our selection criteria

Our approach for a house more respectful of the land and its inhabitants is accompanied by selection criteria. Each Habituari decorative object will meet at least 3 of these criteria. They will be specified on each product in order to help you directly perceive the responsible impact of your choice:

BIO-SOURCE: 

Bio-sourced will indicate the products composed mainly of materials from biomass, of animal or plant origin, little or not transformed. We ensure that these materials come from sustainably managed sites. This involves FSC-type labels for wood or paper, for example.

GEO-SOURCE:

Geo-sourced will indicate products composed of materials from mineral resources, little or not transformed. Also, we will pay attention to the origin of the materials. 

GREEN ENERGY : 

This will refer to objects made from renewable energy, whether via an eco-responsible supplier or simply elbow grease! 

2ND LIFE: 

As Lavoisier says so well, nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed! Objects 2th lives flow directly from this adage. These are products made from at least 50% recycled content.

MADE IN FRANCE: 

Chauvinism? No, common sense! It's time to take a look at what's going on around us. Concretely, products designed and manufactured in France composed of French materials. 

TRANSFORMS IN FRANCE: 

We will differentiate between 100% French products and products processed in France. That is to say products whose raw material or part of the components come from another country.

ARTISANAL: 

Promoting the work done in France also means promoting the know-how, the immemorial gestures of a country where the history is so rich that it would be a shame to lose a chapter.

SOLIDARITY EMPLOYMENT: 

A responsible company is also a company that contributes to better living in its territory. We then value the employment of people in reintegration or in difficulty.

HANDMADE : 

The enhancement of the human gesture is part of the art of living that we want to highlight. This will denote objects with little or no mechanical intervention. 

REPAIRABLE: 

Repair must become a reflex. We will tell you the products where you can intervene to give it a new life!

SMALL BUSINESS : 

We also promote entrepreneurial approaches, whether artisanal or neo-industrial, which tend towards responsible, reasoned and reasonable operations.

CLEAN: 

We want to take care of the planet, but also of our health. We therefore promote production processes that drastically limit or even eliminate harmful chemical solvents or additives.
